The serial shopper has struck again with another E-Cig 🙂 This time it’s the Eleaf iStick Basic’s turn.

After buying a replacement battery for my eGo one when the button broke. I started to have similar issues with the new battery so I decided before it totally gives in I would buy a new e-cig as there is clearly a battery issue with those devices (Not that I really need an excuse to buy anything)

I found the Eleaf iStick Basic Starter Kit from www.vapeking.co.za and what drew me to it was the funky range of colour options available and its small stature but decent sized battery.

The iStick is available in a host of different colours including Red, Pink, Blue, Grey, Black and White. In SA I could only find Red, Blue and black though. Blue is my favourite colour so I ordered that one!

Straight off the bat I noticed how cute the device looks especially in Electric Blue. The tank slots in to the battery unit by way of a magnet so it’s really easy to take in and out with the least amount of fuss. This unique design allows it to more economical on size with less of the bits hanging out. I have never been a fan of other e-cigs that have these wider batteries because they generally look off, in other words the iStick lets you have the bigger battery but does not compromise on design.

Some of the specs that you’ll care about:

  • Dimensions: 8.2cm Tall x 3.8 cm Wide x 2.2cm Thick (Add on approx. 2cm for the tip)
  • 2300 mAh Battery

The Starter Kit includes:

  1. 1×iStick basic Body
  2. 1×GS Air 2 Atomizer(14mm)
  3. 2×GS Air Atomizer Head(0.75ohm)
  4. 1×510 Connector

The Pros:

  • Design (Just love how it looks)
  • Battery Life (I have never run out yet).

The Cons:

  • 2ml Tank Capacity (Would be nice if it was slightly bigger to get me through the day).
  • Only 0.75 ohm coils available.

The iStick gives a very pleasant vaping experience, the draw could be a bit fuller but this could probably be achieved with the use of higher ohm coils in the future.

Overall I would definitely recommend the iStick for new to mid-level users as it is simple to use and looks good on any restaurant table 🙂
